Antique C. A. Zoebisch & Sons New York Eb Tuba manufactured around 1865-1875. The instrument is in Eb high pitch. The tuba has been recently serviced and all valves, valve caps, and slides move freely. There are some dings and small dents on the tuba. The mouthpiece is made of German silver. Bell diameter is 11 1/2” and the overall length is around 31”. Valves have good compression and the tuba is a very good player with a nice full sound. C. A. Zoebisch & Sons was founded in New York, NY in 1847 and provided many brass musical instruments during the American Civil War.
